Our Little Mermaid—and Copenhagen’s

I snapped the photo on a sunny, hot day and was immediately struck by the similarity of my granddaughter’s pose with that of the sculpture in Copenhagen. I decided to convey that with a trompe-l’oeil addition. I painted the photo that appears to be taped next to her.
